Today the Chinese are celebrating their New Year and for 2012 we welcome the year of the Water Dragon.

There are many theories that relate to this coming year in relation to the Mayan Calender, so I thought it would be interesting to see what the Dragon brings us.

Dragon years in Chinese Astrology are usually noticeable times of change. Adjustments in society structures and peoples world views and development are highlighted during a Water Dragon year.  Water Dragon has a valuable message, he advises us to ensure we resolve old issues during this time and to aim to build strong new foundations. The Dragon, as a mythical creature, is a reminder that everyone has dreams. Now is  the time to take a chance, to reach for the proverbial brass ring, to not only dream, but act on that impossible dream. The Dragon gives you the best chance to make it come true.
Water calms the Dragon’s fire. Water Dragons are able to see things from other points of view. They don’t have the need to always be right. Their decisions, are usually better since they allow other’s to become involved.

This year New Year falls on the 23rd this number when added together for a single figure totals to 5, the Dragon is also the 5th sign of the Chinese Zodiac. Relating to the chakra system the 5th chakra is the throat which is all about communication and creating. From the throat chakra we have aspects of loyalty, trust and truth.

Lets watch this exciting year unfold and remember you create your own reality. It is up to you what you choose to take from the essence of the Water Dragon.

I have uploaded my video below which explains The Balance Procedure, developed by Jenny Cox. It is a tool which I use to work with behavioural challenges and health issues. As we know, there is a complete non-physical side to every being as well as the physical, which includes the  emotional and spiritual. Amazing results can be achieved when working with this area.

I wanted to share with you an email I received from a gentleman who attended one of my Animal Communication Workshops recently. Whilst working in his laboratory decided to have a go at communicating with some Daphnia, which are fresh water crustaceans when he was preparing an aquatic environment, this is what they said to him:

Just thought I would tell you about a communication experience I had today in the lab. I remember you telling me on your course that you could communicate with any animal – from something as small as a woodlouse through to a cat, dog or horse. So, when preparing an aquatic environment for some Daphnia (tiny fresh water crustaceans no bigger than real fleas) I decided to have a go and I asked them if they were happy and if they needed anything. To be honest I wasn’t expecting a reply. But what came into my head was “IT IS OK BUT A LITTLE BIT TOO ACIDIC FOR US”. As I needed confirmation that what I received was true I took a sample of their water and tested the pH – it came out as 7.0 – neutral. So I assumed that I had misheard or not actually received anything at all.
However, later on I was online researching the ideal conditions to keep our particular species of Daphnia and I found an article that said they like hard water – preferably alkaline – with a pH of 8.0. So, in actual fact, pH 7.0 WAS to acid for them! They were actually speaking in relative terms!

Today we celebrate World Animal Day, it is celebrated on this day each year and started back in Florence, Italy in 1931.

On this day animal life in all its forms is celebrated, special events are organised all over the globe. This date was chosen because it is the feast day of Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals and the environment.

I wanted to share with you a great video clip from ‘Bashar’ he talks about the word telepathy and how we have missed the precise definition of telempathy.

It is great when you hear someone hit the nail on the head with something that has been bobbing around in your own thoughts for quite some time. I totally agree when he says that we are not reading someones mind or heart, but we are activating something emotional rather than mental.
